Iraq tourism and archaeological program 15 DAYS START FROM SOUHT TO NORTH
DAY 1 Basra Arrival to Al Brash Airport Rest in hotel, if we have time we will make a trip inside Al Basra City depend on the flight time.
Day2: Basra- AL NASIRYAH at 8:30am after breakfast going to AL BASRAH tour will visit Basra corniche and alwatan st and archaeological Basra museum, having lunch then go to Shansheel house and Move to al Nasiriya city.
Day3: at 8:00 am after breakfast going to AL NASIRIYAH CITY we will visit Eridú , UR and ziggurat, Then having lunch, Then return to hotel ,at night city tour then having dinner at local restaurant and return to hotel in al Nasiriya city.
Day4: AL NASIRYAH at 8:00 am after breakfast going to MARSHES (AL AHWAR –AL CHBAISH ) and spend most of day in it WE WILL TAKE A lunch (FRESH REVIER FISH ) WHICH GRILLD BY WOOD at MARSHES (AlAHWAR), then we will go to, visit LAGASH and TELLO then we move to accommodation in a chosen hotels in AL NAJAF CITY.
Day 5: AL NAJAF At 8:00 am we will visit AL KUFA mosque in al NAJAF AND WADI ALSALM CEMITARY then going to the old market and having lunch then going to the hotel, at night visit AL IMAM ALI, then we move to accommodation in a chosen hotels in KARBALA.
Day 6 at 6:00Am KARBALA going to The Fortress of Al-Ukhaidir or Abbasid palace of Ukhaider is located roughly 50 km south of Karbala, It is a large, rectangular fortress erected in 775 AD with a unique defensive style. Constructed by the Abbasid caliph As-Saffah’s nephew Isa ibn Musa, and old Christian church Al-AQISER it. ’Mini Palace’) is an archeological site in Ayn al-Tamr near Karbala with what has been described as the oldest eastern Christian Church. Until recently it was used by Chaldeans of the Chaldean Catholic Church. Then going to Karbala to the hotel to take the rooms then go to AL IMAM AL HUSSAIN shrine, visit old markets then having lunch at local restaurant, in the night will make city tour then going to restaurant near AL IMAM AL HUSSAIN shrine and return to the hotel
Day7: at 7:00am KARBALA- HILAA -BAGHDAD after breakfast we will moving to ALHILAA CITY to visit Babylon city and visit Babylonian theater ,and enjoying the antiquities of Babylon and SADDAM palace ,Then take lunch and we will Visit Kish ruins ,then we move to accommodation in a chosen hotels in Baghdad.
Day 8 at 9:00AM BAGHDAD after breakfast move to the Al-Mada’in city (Ctesiphon ) (TAQ KISRA, Khosrau one of the Persian kings) then going to Martyries’ Monument (panoramic view) Then go to restaurant to take lunch, then visit Church of Sydat Al Nejat Syriac Catholic one of the famous church in Iraq , then back to hotel and take a dinner.
Day9: at 8:30Am BAGHDAD after breakfast going to Akerkov (temple of ziggurat Dur-Kurigalzu) then then visit the national museum and Al Musntasiriya school then to Abaside Palace with Khan Murjan and church Um-Al-Ahzan (Mary Mother of Sorrows) on of the oldest church in Baghdad which located in the local market named (alshurja) near the Christian Neighborhood (akd alnasara) then have a dinner and back to hotel
Day 10 SAMARA–MOSUL at 8:00 AM after breakfast we are moving to Samara (Al-Malawia Mosque – Al-Ashiq Palace then move to al Hatra – Nimrud Ruins – Nineveh Wall / Mosul return to hotel
Day 11: MOSUL At 8:30 AM after breakfast we are moving to Prophet Yunus Mosque – Al-Hadba’a beacon – Bash Tapia Castle – old city and bazar return to hotel
Day 12: MOSUL- DUHOK at 7:30 AM after breakfast we will visit the (Mar MATI Saint Matthew Monastery) then go to Alqosh city which contain old monastery and go to DUHOK city stay in the hotel.
Day 13: DUHOK – ERBIL at 7:30 AM after breakfast we are moving to Erbil city in the way we will visit GALI Ali BEAK waterfall – Bikhal waterfall – KOREK Mountain on of the highest mountains in Erbil –then go to SHAQLAWA and Erbil city stay in hotel.
Day 14: ERBIL at 8:30 AM after breakfast we will make city tour and visit Erbil Castle which contain the old house for Kurdish people – Old Bazar then return to hotel.
Day15: ERBIL Airport after breakfast moving to Erbil airport.
